Job Title: Manager, Finance Master Data

A little bit about our team:

The Finance Transformation team is a group of professionals across the WMG organization brought together to re-imagine our processes and systems to establish more standardized and efficient ways of working that will drive WMG’s growth and business aspirations.

Your role:

This position will play a key role in managing master data related to the digital transformation of Warner Music Group across the globe.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Review and approve requests to create and/or modify master data, including customers, vendors, and various RTR areas, to ensure compliance with our global master data policies. Follow-up with customers/suppliers and internal stakeholders on actions related to master data management, as needed.

  • Supervise offshore resources in the management of customer and vendor master data in S/4 HANA, ensuring that all controls are met throughout the process.

  • Monitor shared master data email inboxes to ensure that inquiries/requests are being resolved on a timely basis.

  • Execute various master data management controls on a monthly basis. Provide audit support for executed controls on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Lead efforts to enhance the master data change request process and the system reports required to execute the monthly reviews, as needed. Liaise with various teams (e.g., OTC, PTP, Tax, IT, etc.) to implement the changes.

  • Assist with other areas of the RTR Transformation project, including pre- and post-go-live issues related to period-end close, consolidations, tax, banking, fixed assets, reporting, and project accounting.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in business, computer science, data science, finance, accounting, or a related field

  • 5+ years working hands-on in an operational finance role

  • Experience working in master data management, including customer and vendor account management

  • Strong ability to translate business objectives into technical architecture

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • A self-motivated approach to proactively driving outcomes

  • A proven track record of working on large scale, fast-paced, and dynamic projects

We’d love it if you also had:

  • Experience with software like SAP S/4 HANA, Hyperion Reporting, Ariba, and PEGA

  • Masters degree in finance, accounting, computer science, data science, or a related field

  • Experience in digital transformation and/or ERP implementation

  • Knowledge of shared service work environments

  • Experience working with offshore teams

  • Effective interpersonal skills to work effectively with people

  • Experience working with a variety of different types of systems, databases, and technologies
