Job Title: Finance Manager

A little bit about our team:

Warner Music’s EMEA Shared Service Centre is the home to the financial, tax and administrative functions that provide critical support and best-in-class services to our European Recorded Music and Publishing businesses. The UK Centre embodies the innovative and creative spirit that stems from the company’s deep history in nurturing entrepreneurial thinking and artist-focused innovation, enabling our employees to develop a wide range of skills through cross-function collaboration and development opportunities.

Your role:

The Regional Finance Manager will oversee key accounting and reporting activities for specific labels/affiliates, and the relationship management with affiliate finance teams.

Here you’ll get to:

· Manage a team of professional accountants and support their day-to-day operations

· Develop and train the team to enable them to reach their full potential

· Implement and monitor controls and procedures related to all areas of financial accounting and reporting as well as project accounting

· Manage the month-end close ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the required activities

· Serve as a point of escalation and approval for journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports, etc.

· Oversee financial accounting for revenue, expenses, fixed assets, intangible assets, production, inventory, intercompany and more

· Prepare flux analysis, generate the trial balance for review and submission

· Prepare the quarterly and annual reporting including liaising with corporate to resolve queries in a timely manner

· Prepare and review cash flow statements, Statutory reports etc.

· Support internal and external audit including acting as the key audit contact

· Work closely with International Tax team to set and implement global transfer pricing policies

· Ensure a strong controls environment is maintained at all times, continuously improving existing control environment

· Perform limited budgeting activity for ‘below the line’ expenses - i.e., interest and intercompany transactions

· Partner with affiliate local finance teams on period close activities, understanding variances to budget

· Other tasks as required by the Senior Director RTR or the Lead

About you:

· Bachelor's degree

· CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified with 3+ years’ experience

· 6+ years of experience in accounting

· Experience working in a SOX controlled environment

· Experience conducting internal and external audits

· Experience with flux analysis

· Knowledge of SAP is preferred but not essential

· Strong work-ethic and a self-starter who proactively seeks out new solutions

· Ability to multi-task and prioritise projects working well under pressure

· Detail oriented

· Experience in a Shared Services environment

· Music industry experience a plus
