Job Title: Publicity Coordinator

This position will require being in the office 4 days a week. We believe that an in-office presence is critical for talent development, collaboration and building strong relationships.

A little bit about our team:

The Warner Music Publicity Team thrives on creating memorable moments for our artists, and company, through strategic publicity campaigns. The five-strong team is well-versed in all aspects of modern-day publicity including print, online, podcasts, events and fashion, and represents artists across the entire WMUK frontline network - Atlantic Records, Warner Records & Parlophone - including Ed Sheeran, Cher, Fred again.., Maisie Peters, Cardi B, Anne-Marie and many more. We are plugged into all departments across the business (from marketing to brands to radio and TV to creative) and set the framework of our artists' narratives and storytelling, impacting culture along the way.

Your role:

The hybrid Publicity Coordinator/Junior Publicist is responsible for supporting the in-house publicity team whilst developing their own roster by overseeing and managing artist PR campaigns. The role is integral to the smooth running of the department and corresponding external agencies. It's a unique opportunity to grow and develop your skill set at one of the only in-house major label publicity teams in the country.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Assist the Director of Publicity and publicity team on a day-to-day basis (admin and campaign work)

  • Collate and distribute all publicity coverage for our acts to internal/external teams

  • Maintain and update the department's databases

  • Researching across of fields of PR

  • Manage label systems - invoices, expenses, travel etc

  • Develop your publicity skillset across your own campaign work spanning print, online, events, podcasts, philanthropy and more

About you:

  • First-class organizational and communication skills (verbal + written) + impeccable attention to detail

  • A proactive team player who is happy to 'muck in' - no task is too big or small

  • A general understanding of global media, especially music journalism

  • An ability to use initiative and follow-up on tasks

  • A keen interest in music, fashion, photography and brands

We’d love it if you also had:

  • An entry level understanding of PR

  • Excellent written skills
