Job Title: Director, Community & Content, Warner & Parlophone Records

A little bit about our team:

Warner & Parlophone Records is home to some of the most ground-breaking and exciting artists in the world, including Dua Lipa, PinkPantheress, Coldplay, Foals, Nines, David Guetta, Gorillaz and many more. We are an ambitious, close-knit team who are passionate about music, developing talent and breaking artists. We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking music person to lead our Community & Content team, who lives and breathes internet culture and is excited by bringing artists and fans closer together.

Your role:

The role of Director, Community & Content will lead on overseeing and guiding the strategy, development and growth of our online communities and short-form content initiatives. As a key leader of our team, you will lead on driving fan engagement, fostering a strong sense of belonging and ensuring the success of our artists through creating fandom.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Lead the digital campaign on Dua Lipa.

  • Oversee and develop the Community and Content & Creator teams in delivering best in class campaigns for artists across the label.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community and content initiatives are aligned with overall artist campaign objectives.

  • Work closely with artists and managers to develop community and content based strategies in their campaigns.

  • Support your team on turning audiences into fans by translating artist discovery into passion.

  • Monitor and analyse community and content performance metrics, providing recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activity to ensure Warner & Parlophone Records remains at the forefront of community engagement and content creation.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with partners, creators and platforms to drive collaboration and artist opportunities.

  • Develop and implement best practices for community management and content creation, mentoring team members to ensure their ongoing growth and success.

  • Experienced leader with a track record of impact in the music and digital space.

  • Loves to tell artists stories and bring fans closer together.

  • Ability to inspire, motivate and guide a team towards success.

  • You understand different fan behaviours and can develop campaigns that appeal to them.

  • Expert of community and creator platforms and how they can be used by artists.

  • You live and breath internet culture.

  • Immersed in online communities and desire to develop them.

  • Effective at deepening fandom and commercialising that passion.

  • Curious about the future of the internet and how it applies to music fans.

  • Cutting edge knowledge of emerging consumer trends, technologies and platforms.

  • Self-starter who’s capable of leading autonomously in a fast paced, high expectation environment.

  • Strong knowledge of the music industry and how to work closely with artists and their teams.
